Follow these steps to install the beta Mac driver for your printer: From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.; Click Print & Fax.; Highlight any Epson printers and click the button to remove them from the Printers list, then click OK.; Open the Hard Drive.; Select Library Printers.; Select the folder labeled EPSON and drag it to the trash. Note: This will remove all installed Epson.
Uninstall Brother Printer Software Mac Free
I think that you can just quit the control centre software. Failing that, you can ID the offending items in Activity Monitor and kill them there, then go to Startup Items and remove them from the start up list.
One question: if you didn't want the features, why did you buy that particular MFD?

I have a 64Gb MacBook Air and installed the printer drivers for an HP printer. Within a few hours of using the printer, three major faults occurred, so I returned the printer and got my money back. I'm going to buy a Canon printer now but first I want to remove the HP printer drivers and all references to it.
I'm using OS 10.7.5.
None of the information I've picked up through the communities works for me becasue they refer to menu options that don't exist on this machine.
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks.
G.
